The gospel that Jesus had on the earth is the same as we have today. There was an apostasy and it was necessary to restore all the principles it had in ancient times. So it was necessary to have prophets, apostles, priests, bishops, patriarchs, and the true principles of the Gospel restored in our day. They were restored and by following its teachings we are blessed because they are established for the purpose of bringing mankind happiness. The commandments are not restrictions, they are truths that have been proven through the years to bring us joy, comfort, blessings, and all the happiness they were designed for! I know they are for our benefit! Find the true Church by looking up the missionaries and learn about the restoration of all the former principles of the Gospel of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints!
